About Me

Bessie Refalo

Bessie Refalo is a movement educator, breathwork guide, and retreat curator with 15 plus years of teaching experience. A 500-hour Yoga Alliance teacher trained in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin, she began exploring other movement forms during lockdown to complement her yoga practice — which led her to BASI Pilates and clinical exercise. Blending yoga, Pilates and somatic practices, she offers a grounded, therapeutic approach that bridges East and West.

Dancing with movement and breath, the body becomes whole.

— Rituals that restore balance, strength, and connection.

Known for the clarity of her voice, deeply attuned cueing, and ability to create transformational spaces, Bessie works with women seeking strength, stillness, recovery, and radiance.

Her method is rooted in lived experience: navigating burnout, motherhood, and rebuilding health through the power of movement, breath, and ritual. Through her offerings, Bessie helps women reinhabit their bodies with grace, purpose, and presence.
